So Matt has confirmed that the BNSF TS license came with a TSW2 license so I'm suggesting another BNSF route Cajon Pass. The locos I would like to see in this route are BNSF ES44DC's BNSF GP38-2's BNSF Dash-9's and BNSF SD75's but I don't think DTG would put that many locos from the get go so starting off I would like to see the ES44DC's and the Dash-9's. I would like the locos to be in the livery's I showed below.
Instead of a GP38-2, I'd suggest a GP60/GP60M or B40-8W and a 3GS-21B Genset Switcher for locals and yard switching. The C44-9W is fantastic, and maybe we could get a BNSF AC44C4M (C44-9W rebuilt with AC traction motors, a GEVO cab, electronic updates, and the C4 trucks of the ES44C4/ET44C4). An ES44C4 or ET44C4 would also be great to see, as well as an SD70ACeP4-T4.
A route like this would be absolutely lovely. Definitely thought something like this would come to fruition eventually. I’m surprised it doesn’t exist yet. Hopefully they decide to consider making it.
they didn't make it sooner because they just got a global BNSF license so now they can make a BNSF route whenever for TSW2 which is amazing!
There isn’t anything in the works as of right now but there is a possibility it will happen in the future
