Tube drivers, thanks to strong unionization, have excellent salaries and benefits including the ability to retire at age 50. Which is nice for them but is cripplingly expensive for TFL to maintain
The bakerloo line would never shut irl (permanently) because the public would fight back and there would be lots of consultations
55 at the earliest for the vast majority. And it’s really not that much of an expense for TfL considering without drivers they wouldn’t make a penny. There are far worse ways they could and do spend their money.
