Hi everybody. This is the TS2018 screenshot contest for the fourth week of July 2018. Please do not upvote until Thursday. The Rules: Changes over last week: As we are starting to see more entries, the limit has gone down to 2 screenshots per person. -The thread is open for entries until Thursday morning for entrants to post their screenshots. That is when the upvoting starts. This is to make sure late entrants have the same amount of time to collect votes as all the other entries. - Limit is 2 screenshots per person. - 1 screenshot per post. This will allow people to upvote the screenshots they like. - No photoshopping. The screenshot should be as it looked ingame. - Please try and make your screenshots in a 16:9 resolution. - Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam store is not shown in the screenshot. - Competition closes at mid-day Friday (UK time). The screenshot with the most upvotes is declared the winner. Winner's Prize: Bragging rights. We will contact the author to request permission to show the winning screenshot in our livestreams and social media channels. This weeks' theme: Water Good luck!
This early morning scene from Exeter City Basin in Riviera in the '50s replaces one I linked to further up-thread. I'm not sure if it was 16:9 ratio, it was quite low resolution having been captured for a website and... I'm not sure that's really on anyway.
A Hymek departs Kingswear in the Riviera in the '50s (which seems to be the only route I have with nice lineside stretches of water).
I'm quite enjoying coming up with entries for these competitions, not that I've made much of an impression so far, but one thing annoys me and that is having to change the graphics settings. Naturally I want a screenshot to look its best so I put all the graphics settings to maximum but that slows the game down a lot on my system, too much to put up with from day to day, so I have to change things back and I usually forget something. Is there some way of running TS with different settings without klarting about like that? It's possible to have a desktop short-cut that changes such things as the field of view. Perhaps it's possible to have a shortcut that runs TS at the highest graphics quality without effecting the usual settings. Any ideas?
Wasn't it though? Am I imagining or has there been more voting this week than previously? Pretty sure the other two are the ones I voted for so I'd've been okay with that. Competition winners are shown in the devstream are they not? This was close enough to warrant showing them all I suggest. Thanks everyone.
