If you guys want this thread shut down, just keep up the back and forth. It has probably run its course anyway.
I'm leaving this thread open providing the topic of whether or not DTG warrants praise or not for the recent fixes can be adhered to. As the regular reminder seems to have lost its impact, everyone is permitted to have their opinion regardless of what it may be. If someone wants to be positive, they are welcome to be that way. If they want to be negative, you shouldn't criticise them for it.
Thank you for resetting this thread to its original topic. My Gold Star this year definitely goes to the Preservation Crew. Being an Epic player, I just picked up a lot of the legacy stuff, and (comparing products that have been polished more with products that have been less) it is a pleasure to see those older routes and locomotives (that often are better or at least more interesting in terms of simulation than the newer releases) getting kept up to modern standards in terms of appearance. I really hope the same brushing up will happen to the signaling and safety systems on the existing routes, especially the North American ones. Releasing an update to fix the issues that seemed to be ignored for too long before the end of the year defintely helped keeping up positive vibes for the upcoming year. It's nice to see that the team is still alive. Season's Greetings to everyone.
Although there have been bugs/things breaking DTG have done an amazing job this year. My favourite being Cathcart as its an amazing route with great detail and hopefully the first of many Scottish routes coming to the game in 2022 Well done everyone I couldn't agree more
I also agree that if ever there was a department that deserves a 'gold star' this year is the Preservation crew but the department that isn't allowing the Preservation crews fixes/updates to be released deserve something else.
