Texture Update

I have had this game since 2013 and love it, I appreciate that all updates to New Years are free, but what is really lacking are the textures and graphics. Will there ever be a texture/graphics update?

 

As in what do you want changing?
You can get good effects by using some enhancer programs

 

Literally the textures. The current game textures are super low quality. Enhancer programs wouldn’t change textures. I don’t understand why train sim world has high res good looking textures and this game which has been out longer has low quality low res textures. Don’t go on to say it’s because this game has been out longer, devs can definitely upgrade quality in updates.

As you obviously know more about the game than me I will leave it at that.

 

Your time would be better spent researching what your asking instead of arguing with someone who already knows the reason yet your lack of knowledge fails to understand what you are being told.

 

Sigh. He's right, reshading programs do improve the textures by reworking the shading on them. It's you who is not listening.

really? I don't see much of a difference in before and after pictures, just lighting. You don't think its a little outrageous that this game has been out for almost 10 years and has yet to upgrade the textures? On top of that, having to pay for a program that barely does any enhancing? you're not looking at the big picture

 

they never explained the reason why textures are LOVE. It's been 10 years and the graphics have never changed, that's unacceptable

 

TS runs on DX9. The only way the graphics can be improved is by overhauling the game to run on either DX11 or 12, and DTG just don't have the resources to do that.
