    Hey everybody! I would like to make a suggestion for the Elizabeth Line.
    The route would be going from Paddington (low level) to Abbey Wood and Shenfield with spurs to Liverpool Street (high level) and Old Oak Common TMD.

    --------------------------------
    (Map made in Google Earth Pro according to data from OpenRailwayMap)
    Снимок экрана (411).png
    --------------------------------
    The whole route is around 40 miles (64 km) long, about 14.5 miles (23 km) of which are in tunnels.
    This route would feature a first for TSW2 with the CBTC signalling in the Core and Abbey Wood sections.
    --------------------------------
    24 stations in total [which is definitely doable]:
    Core:

    1. Paddington;
    2. Bond Street;
    3. Tottenham Court Road;
    4. Farringdon;
    5. Liverpool Street (low level);
    6. Whitechapel;
    Abbey Wood Branch:
    1. Canary Wharf;
    2. Custom House;
    3. Woolwich;
    4. Abbey Wood;
    Shenfield Branch:
    1. Liverpool Street (high level);
    2. Stratford;
    3. Maryland;
    4. Forest Gate;
    5. Manor Park;
    6. Ilford;
    7. Seven Kings;
    8. Goodmayes;
    9. Chadwell Heath;
    10. Romford;
    11. Gidea Park;
    12. Harold Wood;
    13. Brentwood;
    14. Shenfield;
    --------------------------------
    3 Depots:
    1. Old Oak Common TMD;
    2. Ilford TMD;
    3. Plumstead Depot
    [according to Wikipedia, there is also a depot at Romford but on Google Maps it looks like it's used by service vehicles so idk]
    --------------------------------
    The rolling stock would consist of the Class 345 Aventra trains.

    [The Class 315 IMO would be either a DLC for this route or layered in from a (possible) GEML route.]

    --------------------------------
    I'm guessing TFL owns the license and not MTR so the licensing might not be that much of a problem.
    --------------------------------
    I didn't include the western end of the Elizabeth Line because it would be effectively copying Great Western Express with a few tweaks and I get that some people would like to buy a more modern version of GWE but I'm not sure whether that would be a lot of people. Plus there wouldn't be a point in doing that without the Heathrow branch and I've seen many people say it's nearly impossible to get the Heathrow tunnels for reference, so I'm willing to bet that ain't happening.
    --------------------------------
    Also, I'm not expecting this route to be released before late 2022 when it will be "2 different lines":

    ...or early 2023, when it will be completed:

    ...although miracles can hopefully happen!
    --------------------------------

    What do you all think? Would like to hear your thoughts on this and suggestions on how to improve it.

    Excellent idea and that CBTC section from the players perspective would be a true rush-hour wrote Because of CBTC putting your train behind another train then another one after yours. Basically yellows and reds if not careful failure due to stop signal overrun United States Federal Railroad Administration NTSB term for a SPAD UK RAIB

    All round a good suggestion, not a route I'd typical go for, considering the rather strange ending point in the west, however it would be good to see Dovetail imagine the route in TSW - could also do TfL some favours, letting a wide audience see and feel the line before it (one day) opens. As for Dovetail, I could only imagine it would be good having a route right as it opens, as a sort of exclusive thing.

    One thing about the 315, though. It makes total sense to have it in, as it could be modified from the 314 from Cathcart Circle, which also is overall very similar to it. They could probably get a Greater Anglia unit in if they wanted.

    Good suggestion.

    tbh I agree with you on this but I decided that it would be best to stop the route at Paddington (or more specifically OOC depot) because 1) like I already said it would be copying GWE [unless they are able to get the rights for the Heathrow Tunnels which would be sick]; and 2) I looked at a map of service frequencies on the londonist's website (here it is: How Frequently Will Crossrail Trains Run? We've Mapped It | Londonist [dunno how certain this is now tho] ) and 10-12tph heading westbound from Abbey Wood and Shenfield terminate at Paddington low-level.

    Yeah, I meant to say "considering the rather strange ending point in the west ... which you've explained quite well."

    But because my phone switched off briefly I forgot what I was saying and moved on.

    But I do feel like Paddington is a decent place to end, thanks to the explanations.

    I think this suggestion is quite good as we get more TFL, but it acts a connecter between two lines that could quite easily justify, as GWE did, their own add-on which could service a wider audience.

    Good suggestion , I’d like to see this added . One thing to mention is that if this was added , it would be nice to see SE AI on some parts of the route

    Yeah Romford is a Network Rail depot, mostly with track machines, on the Eastern side there is also Aldersbrook Carriage Sidings, Gidea Park Carriage Sidings and the sidings at Shenfield Station which are all used by TfL Rail.

    Also, the Shenfield Shark brake van must absolutely 100% be included in the route if they make it.
