(Ignore this, I realised this is actually normal) I've mentioned this on the forum before, but it's getting on my nerves even more now. For some reason the tracks ahead / beside me and the distance is pixelated and not smooth. (it's especially noticeable when moving at high speeds) My anti-aliasing is on a high setting, all other graphics are on max. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game, turned off all 3rd party stuff to make sure it isnt 3rd party content. I've re-set my Nvidia control panel settings, yet nothing has worked. And my screen resolution is 2560x1440 so resolution shouldn't be the cause of pixelation. And I get frustrated seeing other videos of Train Simulator where the distance is nice and smooth, which has really made me realise that this isn't normal. I've attached screenshots below of what it looks like. So if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this, please let me know! (Also if this is actually normal, please let me know about that too) (on this first image, you can see the very pixelated tracks on the bridge with the Class 375)
The bottom three look fine. I notice the pixelation more on the first image, but it could well be to do with the sim/monitor resolution: looking at this 300% zoom in, you can see the pixelation on the track next to the train mirrors that on the roof edge of the unit. I would say the "pixelation" on the line on the bridge is more an artefact of the rendering of the sleepers, perhaps. But it's hard for me to say, as I have a different resolution to you.
Thanks, I've realised this is definitely due to my resolution. This is why I'm saving up to get a 4k monitor so I won't get the crazy pixelation on some tracks.
