In this Thread I would like to suggest the High Speed Route between Nürnberg and Ingolstadt. This Route would include Long Distance and Regional Services. This Thread has 3 Sections: 1. Basic Route Info 2. Rolling Stock 3. Conclusion 1. Basic Route Info The High Speed Route Nürnberg-Ingolstadt is around 90kms in total, the Route would offer Long Distance Services and Regional Services (MNX/RE1). The Long Distance Services would stop at: -Nürnberg Hbf -Ingolstadt Hbf The Regional Services would stop at: -Nürnberg -Allersberg (Rothsee) -Kinding (Altmühltal) -Ingolstadt Nord -Ingolstadt Hbf The Route would include speeds up to 300km/h and 190km/h for the Regional MNX (RE1) Service. The Drive with the High Speed Service would take around 30 Minutes while with the Regional Service 50 minutes. The Route has the PZB and LZB Signalling Systems. It would be a nice Route as it has a great landscape and it also has the fastest Regional Service in Germany. 2. Rolling Stock BR402 ICE2 The BR402 (ICE2) was built between 1994-1998 and is around 200 meters long. The BR402 would be a perfect fit for the Long Distance Service because TSW2 needs a ICE2 badly. It has a VMax of 280km/h, it has the PZB and the LZB systems installed. The Train weighs around 455t and it has an Power Output of around 4,800kW (6,400hp). BR102 The BR102 was built in 2016 (specially for the MNX with the 2nd Generation Skoda Double Decker Wagons) There are a total of 6 BR102 driving on the MNX. The VMax is 200km/h, it has the PZB and LZB systems installed. The Train weighs around 88t and it has an Power Output of around 6,400kW (Around 8,500hp) DLC Trains: BR412 The BR412 was built in 2013 and it is the Youngest ICE in DBs High Speed Fleet. It is a bit slower than the ICE2 at 265km/h, it has the PZB and the LZB systems installed. It would offer a variety of ICEs to choose from if added. The Train weighs around 469-973t (Depends on how many wagons there are) and it has an output between 4,950-11,550kW (6600-15500hp) the output depends on how many wagons there are. 3. Conclusion I think this Route would be a great Route including the Long Distance and Regional Services. It also has a great landscape which does not only make it a beautiful Route but also a fun Route driving at 280km/h and the 190km/h Regional Service. It also isnt that long at 90kms and 30-50 Minutes driving time. Feel free to add anything down below.
Finally a route where owners of Hauptstrecke München Augsburg can max the DB BR403 ICE3 Everyone Gets Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen DB BR406 ICE3M where this can be maxed to 300 kmh. DB BR102 can then layer to Riesa-Dresden Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg Rhein-Ruhr Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen RE1 services
But this is an ICE 1 (Br 401) not an ICE 2. I did a Suggestion for the ICE 2 and it would perfectly fit on the ICE line 25. And what would be cool is that, every two hours the ICE 2 drives coupled with an othe ICE 2. You can Read it also in my Suggestion
It's only confined to Schnellfahrstrecke München Nürnberg in real life but for DTG they are simply run on other routes that have Doppelstockwagen original or layered from. Examples are Riesa-Dresden and Main Spessart Bahn giving them to Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen RRO HRR Hamburg-Lübeck and HMA.
I like the idea but still I am more interested in Nürnberg München, so I mean the complete route like in Pro Train perfect 2
Amazing suggestion! Would like to see the Ingolstadt & Nürnberg in the game, great rolling stock for the route too!
If to be done you are going to see the community realizing the true Max speeds of ICE3 HMA and Köln-Aachen ICE3M on this route.
The high-speed route is also able to handle speeds of 400 km/h but only for tests, for example the new Verlaro Novo gets tested on it with this speed, so maybe if it would be done, than there could be an extra scenario, where we have to test the highest speed of an ICE 3 for example or the ICE S is able to go 400 km/h
Very helpful indeed and also this line can support the TGV Duplex if the development team was able to find the version for it that can run on German Routes with PZB LZB equipped. Pictures are of TGV POS on Schnellfahrstrecke Nürnberg München
HECK yeah BR102 and its control car, ICE4, damn that would be nice to play... also now with Kassel-Fulda-Wurzburg route being done in TSW3, I believe that Munchen-Ingolstadt could even be done further up to Nurnberg ))
*happy ICE4 noises* )) that would be great... any ICE ... oh and ICE-T wouldnt be too bad either, since they already got the tilting mastered kinda
