Update: we are seeing some players regain access, whilst others are still having problems. Sony tweaked something their end earlier this afternoon, which seems to have done something, but we've gone back to them to try to find out why some of you aren't able to access it still. Our working hypothesis may be that anyone who tried to download prior to Sony's tweak and received the error message (mid-afternoon UK time) may not be able to download, whereas those who are trying for the first time since this was implemented are able to download. What would really help is if you could tell us: - Are you able to play the Add-on? - Where did you buy it? (PS Store (Web or in-game), DTG Store) - Did you redeem a code to start the download? - If so, what time of day did you try to redeem your code/download first? - Where in the world are you based? Everything went normally for me. Add-on purchased at PS store and installed. Both PS4 and PS5 versions have begun downloading. I aborted and deleted the PS4 version. DLC works for me. They play on PS5 in the Czech Republic.

PS4 yes, PS5 no Purchased through PSN store (as the in game store is flawed and frankly looks dreadful too) Code? Curious as to why you ask, most either have the wallet topped up or purchase and pay via CC or PayPal. Wallet was topped up to £25 earlier in the week. Purchase made at 11:14am in the UK This was pre tweak. unable to download via store, app or manage content. Error attached. edit: restored licences for fun (always laugh as any error on here some says to do this) anyway it didn’t work. gonna pop to the garage and take the fuses out and that’ll complete my attempt to help troubleshoot this.

From the responses so far, definitely seeing a pattern. We've messaged Sony again with this hypothesis, and when we have more we'll let you know. At our end, we've tried republishing the Add-on, and also a couple of other things, but not really sure what else we can do without Sony's support. We've submitted a DevNet ticket for them to review with some additional information. Thank you for the quick information, folks. I appreciate this is frustrating (it is for us, too - if that's any consolation).

Purchased and downloaded at about 15.00hrs with no issues. Played Introduced, 1st Training Module and 1st Scenario again without issues.
Can you at least give us an idea of whats gone wrong? This is just frustrating as hell for PS5 users(yes its not your fault but its certainly not helping). Hentis
Honestly, no idea - I'm afraid. We've checked everything we can think of our end, but not sure if it's a gremlin in the Sony system at this stage.
I certainly don't want to let DTG completely off the hook however it's clear to me that the majority of the issues that have occurred exclusively on playstation since RH are at least partly caused the complexity and poor design of the PSN store in relation to moving from Gen 8 to Gen 9. XBox have just managed this better which has made it simpler for developers. My guess is that there's something cached on peoples PS5's that tried to download it before the fix and this will expire at some point, allowing the download to complete successfully. No idea how long this will take though or if there is anything anyone can do to hurry it along.
thought taking the fuses out and killing the power to the house would have done the trick ah I see, thought it was a good effort. dear JD, are you able to share what the tweak was done around noon as that made it work as expected for those who purchased after this point. Us keen “oh it’s on the store” folk have lucked out sadly. An oversight on the content published or an unfortunate error (as seen on the other game that suffered the same error a while back)
I would, but we are still not able to transfer PS4 profile to PS5. A base function, many cross platform games offering at release.
Certainly. From the lack of easy adaption of PS4 saves to PS5 to the mess that the cross-platform PS4/5 store is (as seen here), it's fair to say that Microsoft is leaps and bounds ahead here.
Quick update before I finish for the evening - the initial solution presented by Sony hasn't worked, so we're awaiting a response from them. Realistically, it's unlikely at this stage there will be any more progress tonight. We'll pick it up tomorrow morning, but thank you as ever, for your cooperation.

So after being plagued with the error yesterday evening, I have just returned from work to find that it will now download for me. Editing for further info; Based in the UK, downloaded the DLC via the ‘Manage Game Content’ option for TSW 2.
We have started seeing users having success downloading. If you have been experiencing this problem please check again if you are able to access your add-on.
Thanks for the update Nat. It’s working for me in Switzerland now. Edit : Successful attempt was 24 hours and 7 minutes after my initial purchase. So looks like the wait 24 hours theory could be correct.
I've used google translate. If your game still isn't downloading, has it been 24 hours since you first tried?
Also worked for me now. Initial download attempt: shortly after 11:00 Berlin time yesterday Successful attempt: 12:02 Berlin time today For what it’s worth JD/Nat: I’ve suffered the same issue with other games on two different occasions and it worked after 24h in both cases as well. So there’s probably something to your hypothesis.
