Wondering how many PS5 players who have spent hours doing real life liveries on the PS4 version of the game feel about knowing that going on what was said on the roadmap stream you cannot transfer those liveries over to the PS5 version of the game using Creators Club. Personally I think you should be able to upload all of your liveries and decide which to make public and which to keep private to your DTG profile so that you can transfer them over from PS4-5
Yeah they did. That's why the initial post because I daresay that people go have been doing liveries on PS4 have been doing real life liveries and would like to transfer them over to PS5 so they don't have to sit for hours again to redo them.
Wouldn’t jump to conclusions regarding this, we don’t know if we could simply put a white square over logos (just like what happens IRL) or, take it one step further and put a shape over the entire design, and then remove it once you have it in your collection.
There’s no point anyway. They still havnt fixed the created livery textures on Ps5 so even if you could transfer them, they’d look like garbage while driving them.
AIUI, Creators Club is completely cross-platform: PS4, PS5, XB One, XB X, PC, all can upload and share.
I thought Sams real world liveries piece was a bit chryptic . As I saw it he says " if you ask us for permission to upload real world liveries ........ we have to say no". In Forza they lock the designs from modification once published. This prevents anyone downloading a seemingly innocent looking design, removing one layer and seeing offensive content (the preview picture would not detect this). The design is always linked to the creator and cannot be modified/re-shared by others. Your own content can be freely edited still. I expect there will be some limitations but hopefully only for keeping content in line with the game's age rating.
To be fair, I don’t think realistic liveries are going to be an issue, going off that roadmap stream.
Matt said that's what they are going to do in TSW Creators Club too. Any liveries you download won't be able to be edited.
Realistically, DTG have to fix the pixelation issue on PS5 before the release of the creator’s club. To be brutally honest though, I don’t think they will. Happy to be proven wrong however.
Can we ask them to preview it on the amazing uhd ps5? Can’t wait for my 8-bit creations to be enjoyed by others around the world.

Didnt sam ( one of the team at least ) say, and I quote "if you ask us permission to send real life liveries, we would probably have to say no" So in terms, dont ask permission and upload anyway
