I just bought the new German route and it's not appearing in my game. It also takes longer for the game to boot up on my PS5. I don't know why this is happening as I have not yet reached the 64gb limit.
The DLC cannot be downloaded on PS5 yet. There is a threat about it: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/code-error-on-tharandter-rampe.50843/
Mikey_9835 what time (local) did you make the purchase? Did it download or did you get an error? slow load times would indicate the DLC limit may have been reached. if you purchased after noon GMT you should be able to download.
100% DLC cap then as slow boot matches the symptoms when the issue first came about. you’ll need to click on manage content and delete the lesser used routes, launch again and you’ll finally get enjoy the new route
The download problem on PS5 seems to be solved. I as well as other players managed to install the new DLC.
Having taken you're advice I deleted several routes and eventually I managed to get the route to appear. Although I'm suprised since I was nowhere near the 64GB limit so I'm not entirely sure why that happened but thank you for your help
Mikey_9835 glad to hear you were able to load with normal times and enjoy the new route Can you remember what the total install size was? im often curious… the total size can exceed 64gb as it’s a “DLC” cap and the base install is around 10ish GB to start so total game size can be around 74GB? I could be talking rubbish here Let’s see if anyone in the know can confirm.
