For CSX Heavy Haul or any other future US freight route added in TSW the ET44 was a upgrade of the ES44 which was put into service in 2015 they are more eco friendly than the ES44 the ET44 is owned by Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, CSX, BNSF and CN (all I know of)
Don't forget to add KCS to that list. They have ordered 50 of these engines for their US and Mexican railways. http://www.railjournal.com/index.ph...y-southern-orders-50-locomotives-from-ge.html
I want these engines. BNSF has ET44C4 diesels. They have 4 powered axles instead of 6. I'd like to see the BNSF and UP versions, and we need routes for BNSF and UP for TSW.
I agree! I would definitely love to see the BNSF ET44C4 Locomotives!! Tier 4 EVO’s (BNSF ET44C4) are definitely needed in TSW!! Please add this content immediately! Also add Metra and Amtrak and BNSF in Chicago!
Will we see “ET44” series locomotives in BNSF, Union Pacific, and Norfolk Southern liveries in TSW2? We have been asking for these locomotives for 3+ years now and can’t seem to get any response from DTG! BNSF ET44C4 here: Et44ac/dc
BNSF has refused to license its trademarks to DTG. Why, nobody knows; but for right now and the foreseeable future TSW and TS are limited to CSX, NS and UP and their predecessors, plus Amtrak. I don't think they've ever approached KCS.
This will be a good idea and speaking of these ET44ac/dc they use EGR instead of SCR which is what the SC-44 Siemens Charger locomotive uses to meet tier IV EPA emissions for Diesel Locomotives.
