I notice on Friday they have a run over the Woodhead line - I presume he will know about the broken signal at Godley Jn.
Would I be correct in presuming the streams will be made publicly available after the Festival finishes up for those of us who might not be able to catch them when they’re streaming live?
Thanks for the answer. Though I must mention that in the time after posting my initial inquiry, I sauntered over to the TSW section of the forums, and it appears the streams won’t be on Steam exclusively, but will be streamed to both TubeYou and Twitch as well, so I’ll be able to catch them after all, given I remember to tune in.
That is normal as DTG know that everyone around the world in different time zones won't be able to watch live.
What broken signal. You mean the one that looks like it is on your track, so your signal, but it is for the track next to you?
On the Up Main in the platform at Godley Jn there is a Signal that applies to that line but the track link is in the Down Main It is not supposed to be for the track next to yours. It was reported not long after the route came out Along with the awful track layout at Manchester Piccadilly which is wrong. Don't get me started on how bad parts of this line are Spent 6 years of my railway career working over Woodhead so all the errors stand out. Peter
Ah thanks, As I am not around from that part (or even from the UK), I just take what the route is for granted, but as this is already an older route, the woodhead electric railway in blue, i don't see it going to be fixed sadly. But still, I like the route itself
