Has anyone found a way to successfully uninstall this route from their collection please? My SSD is 95% full and I need to start considering uninstalling routes which I dont need or play due to personal preference. The Bakerloo line is number 1 on my hitlist but as its a core route I dont know if its possible?
If you're on Steam right click on Train Sim World 2 then select properties DLC and take out the check mark and that should uninstall it from the game giving you room you need.
Forgot about that figured it would there regardless if it was a part of the core or not. Would suggest trying what Cameron's Gaming has pointed out. Hopefully it will not reinstall it because it is apart of the core on it's own automatically.
I spoke to matt about it a while ago regarding removing SPG, he said deleting the pak file "should be fine tbh" presumably meaning 'it most likely won't throw a hissy fit at you, and will just work as normal but without SPG, but we haven't tested that so do so at your own risk'. I've deleted the intro videos and it didn't automatically redownload them, so I'd assume the same principal applies here, although Steam will likely try to reinstall it whenever Bakerloo gets updated, or if you do a verify.
That's on my list to do, but Jan is a looonnnnggggg month and I've just snapped up £30 worth of DLC in the sale and got a lot for my money!
I will do that to make sure they do not come back. I only get the UK routes so I just uninstalled the .pak files for the original other two and has not come back yet. I did this a few months back.
Not really, though 2 TB might be overkill. I have almost all dlc and it comes to about 120-125 GB. I just bought a 1TB SSD and I expect it to last a while. Of course if you just want to eliminate routes you don't need, then maybe you can manage with a much smaller drive. Oh, and that's a rather far fetched analogy, by the way.
