Hello I was curious is there any way to get sparks on PS4 because I would like to see if there are if anyone knows anyways to do it if you're even on console please let me know thank you and have a great day
Yes, fire up PS4 and start TSW2. Pick a route and a service (heavy freight headed by EMU is best). Then get a bottle of water from your fridge and pour it into de ventilation of your PS4. Sparks garanteed! admin: Sorry, I couldn´t resist.
Think I’ve seen it on photos from dtg for an ICE 3 and one of the American locos on heavy braking. For overhead wires and third rail I remember hearing there was some background development for it but it’s not been implemented in the game.
There are sparks, however not on console. Why? I have no idea... A while ago (very long time ago) somebody asked about it why we don't have it and DTG also didn't know why.
Let me redeem myself. What I´ve just found might answer your question: Those Small Details... Not sure about PS4 though, I guess you have to give it a trial.
Get a freight train, I think diesel are better in rain and juts grip it and rip it from a standstill. That's "should" do it
To get sparks the easiest way is to go into the 66, apply full train brake, cut out all but one traction motor, release the brakes and max power - that one poor axel wont have a hope and just sit there spinning.
Well the trick is tofind a way to make the wheels spin - some may be much harder. Low adhesion helps (snow). US locos you can apply full train brake then bail the locos and apply power - some may be able to spin some might not. Just gotta try some options really. Remember even if you cant bail off, if you apply the train brake fully and then release it - it will release front to back so you should get a brief window where your loco is off but the wagons are still mostly on and thats your best shot to get it to spin. Once it's stated spinning you should be ok to keep it sinc eit's alreay lost grip at that point. Another option is to lock the wheels up descending a heavy grade - on US locos, apply full loco brakes AND full dynamics and that should lock it up - then after a few moments you shoul dsee some sparks i think.
You know I can't talk about possible future stuffs Is it something i'd like to see? of course. Just like all the routes, all the trains, and all the features.
Thanks Matt about your explanation about it. But this weekend I was driving a heavy train with the SD70ACE on SH, I noticed the wheels spinning more that one time, after a full stop, but I did not see any spark at all. The only thing I did not do was full throttle after it.
