Game Crash

When I finish Sherman Hill, I tried to go to Boston to see the new locomotive, shortly after it loaded I got this crash. I did a file verification using Stream and everything is reported to be correct. and now I can not even load Boston anymore, and then when I said on the screen SEND AND RESTART the crash just keep happening when it tries to load the game

Yup, I cannot even load the sim without getting this crash.

 

I getr the same UE4-TSW2Prototype error on the Sandpatch. Some of the scenarios and many of the timetables cause the crash. Prior to a few days ago, I have had no problems at all the TSW2. To troubleshoot, I have tried:

1) reinstalling latest nVidia drivers
2) running various malware and antivirus scans (all negative)
3) uninstalling TSW2, rebooting and reinstalling it both with and without DLCs - still got exact same errors
4) ultimately ended up reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch WITH NO CHANGE TO THE ERRORS!

I tried sending an error post to Dovetail at https://dovetailgames.kayako.com, but their support desk has "expired" and nothing can be sent.

Hope the devs are reading this because, as far as I can tell, we can't submit error reports. Anybody else having these sort of CTDs?

there is at least one service at Boston that always crashes

due to having 2 services placed at 1 spot
its around 17:00 - 19:00 start times

maybe u have some liveries installed which now create this ue4 error ?

 

In my case there are no mod, livery, or scenario, and even the engine.ini is standard one

 

The OPs crashes can be solved by simply verifying the file integrity because an update corrupted the game files.

 

But the OP said he'd already done a file verification.

 

well thats odd since that is an error which can directly be redirected to a corrupted update file.

 

Yesterday i got a little update and tsw 2 didn't start anymore. But thank you for that tip. A file verification helped.
