Why does a 1lb roach fight as hard and as long as a 30lb carp?
I've spent ages playing a fish, only to find, once landed, that it's a small roach!!
It even takes the line to snapping point on 25lb braid. Needs addressing.
Also, fish swim off up the banks! Again, needs addressing.

The funny thing is I've caught my biggest carp using a waggled on 3lb line and on pinky maggots.A 24lb 22lb mirrors on that setup fing in the margins.I mean on that line they should have snapped me up.

When using big boileys and bug hooks I've even caught 1lb roach I mean, come on that just dosent happen when I go down my local lake.

    PLEASE FIX DOVETAIL

In real life the smaller fish most of the time give a bigger fight........... this is because the 30lb carp is a fat slow fish.

Anyone know how you keep tension without reeling when fighting a fish? I was watching a few videos on YouTube and noticed the guy i was watching was managing to keep tension in the line when he stopped reeling. As soon as i stop reeling the tension drops instantly and the fish spits the hook.
