Hi, I am new here and was just wondering that in TS, is there any modern day way to adjust the cab POV? This may be in the wrong forum and I am sorry if it is.

Well as long as it's TS and not TSW you're asking about then yes, it's the right forum.

To answer your question if you are in-game in a scenario then press Esc and then Camera Options, there is an FOV slider there.

    Side topic:

When using cab FOV, do you guys keep it the same or change it depending on which train?

If your FPS can afford it, put it to maximum. You can always zoom in a little bit in the cab.

I personally use -SetFOV=75 in my start up parameters but will occasionally have to adjust the slider if need be, especially when a dev decides that my nose should be up against the windscreen by default.
I only ever use scroll wheel zoom to zero in on a distant signal or a dial that's otherwise unclear at my preferred FOV, the problem with driving zoomed in is this..

Zoom in too far and the world goes by very slowly.

Also a problem with having FOV too far back especially with widescreen monitors is the fisheye effect that appears to magnify/stretch the image closest to the edges, so the key is to play around with your settings till you find what suits you as it's different for everyone.

One problem some people found - if the POV is too wide you see parts of the cab you should not be able to see.
