Okay, I know what you're thinking, Tank please, surely you have a better suggestion than this, maybe a route or new feature perhaps? Yes, I will admit this suggestion is purely down to my friend showing me a screenshot of a cat in another train sim (presumably a mod asset) and saying 'You don't get that in TSW'. Now, here me out cats have long been used for pest control at stations and while no longer a common sight there are plenty of cats that frequent stations or call them home. Cross Country even have a page on their website showcasing some of the feline friends around the country: https://www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk/blog/days-out-uk/train-station-cats-of-the-uk Yes there are more meaningful suggestions and more pressing concerns but why not have a little bit of fun and indulge in a cute little addition to the game, a tiny token of immersion that has no purpose beyond putting a smile on your face. If not, well then take this thread as a suggestion to post as many photos of cats at train stations as you see fit.
I love this idea. For me it really are the small details that offer immersion, that draw me in and keep me interested.
This is the most important suggestion of all time. Many, MANY extra points if we're allowed to... pet the cat.
Excellent Idea and speaking of NTP Huddersfield it should have one like Felix seen in this BBC report from 22 June 2019 UK date format US & Canada English speaking part is June 22nd 2019 even though it's set in 1983. Video link is
We have quite a famous cat at our station. George the Stourbridge Junction cat has his own facebook page and is a twitter and instagram star! He is the main reason that Stourbridge Junction won the 2021 world cup of stations. So if the Snow Hill lines ever come to TSW then DTG need to model a ginger moggy!
I would like all the passengers replaced with cats. As long as all the male ones aren’t bald like the passengers on some routes. That would be freaky. But seriously, the inclusion of an animated cat on the odd station here and there would be most welcome.
Maybe petting a cat could be a collectable? I know it's not super realistic that every station on a route has a cat... but kitty
Never mind cats, Slough on GWE would be accurate if it included it's resident dog. http://www.sloughhistoryonline.org....-i-00-000.tif&t=sl-sl-transport&s=Qd0ORx2bxk1
