I think that the Edinburgh to Glasgow route would be a great second UK route for TSW. Just like the GWE, this route is very dated and old in TS1- and deserves an upgrade. The included locos would be the class 170 and class 158. A class 66 reskin would be included along with scenarios for the class 66. The route would comprise of Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street, being able to drive via Falkirk High or via Falkirk Grahamston. Also you will be able to drive services going to Perth, but only up until Stirling. And of course a very detailed depot in Haymarket will also be included with the route. Finally I would like thank Dovetail Games for all their hard work in trying to please us with TSW. They worked really hard to make GWEnand I appreciate that.
A route I would love but set in the 80's when Eastfield TMD was always packed with locos and 47/7's worked the push-pull Glasgow - Edinburgh services.
I'm not sure DTG would do an older era straight away, I think they'd wait a few more years when they've got more modern era routes. Most players tend to go for modern era routes aswell.
Got to hit the like button on this post i would love to see Edinburgh to Glasgow as well love the route in TS2018 and would look excellent in TSW with the long run between scenery and the towns before the major cities at either end and the approach into Edinburgh via waverly tunnels with the castle would make a great train spotting location
With I can't wait I merely mean it would be nice if they added it? What's wrong with just being enthusiastic about something? I don't see any reason why you would get so worked up over what I said really...
i agree, this would be my suggestion either that or the ECML through fife but im sure the forth bridge would be too difficuklt haha but E-G would be pretty decent. 170, 158 and 66, or 158, 385 and 66, coukd you not just port over HST from GWE with a reskin for scotrail also?
