Assuming TSW will cope with routes longer than those currently available, would Sheffield to Cleethorpes be a viable prospect? Passenger services would obviously include Sheffield to Cleethorpes and all stations in between, but could also feature Cleethorpes to Barton on Humber if the Barton branch was included. The Barton line would also enable access to Immingham docks, and freight trains could run run between there and Scunthorpe steelworks. Trains of domestic waste from the Manchester could travel to Roxby landfill on the remaining section of the Noth Lindsey Light Railway. Is this a route that people would be interested in?
