Hello, I can't complete the first tutorial on Bakeroo line. When I sit on driver's seat and try to switch to shunt like I have been invited to, a beep ring, and the train don't start... I tried several things with no sucess, and in other missions in chapter one, I have not this problem. I play on PS5. Is that a bug, or am I missing somethings? Regards, Gab
Have you acknowledged the safety system when setting up or could you show a photo of where you are at in the tutorial with the hud in focus
Hello, How do you aknowledge the safety system? I push the button to reset the alarm, is it the same thing?
Yes I did that as instructed in the tutorial. Then you are invited to push the throttle to Shunt, or press R2 on Dualsense controller. And when I do that, deadmans handle get up and start beeping.... I try the reset instructions with no success. I don't encountered this problem in the second tutorial.
Ok, i've tried again, and the train move only if I leave X button pushed and move the throttle with the left stick... It's looks like a bug to me. Do you think it's worth to raise a ticket?
Can confirm, after some considerable time of feeling I had missed something, that the deadmans lockout is activated and bugged on the PS5 Bakerloo tutorial. Manually pushing the deadmans handle resets the lockout, but attempts to set a forward motion with R2 causes the handle to release and it to lockout again. Manually holding X on the lever whilst deadmans is pressed and lockout is disengaged, allows forward motion to be set, but releasing the X after setting, again causes deadmans lockout and halts the train. I think everyone can appreciate the train is quite difficult to drive whilst focused and holding down X for this control.
The deadman handle popping up is the basis of a cross-platform bug which afflicts the 72 stock generally, not just in the tutorial and not just on Playstation. Probably harder to deal with on a controller though.
Thank you for that solicitr . The tutorial can be finished by holding the control adjuster manually as mentioned, because it only requires to get up to speed then coast. I am however dismayed to learn it may yet start popping up in other scenarios.
I’ve never experience this bug in others scenario so far. The only things seems to be bugged, is that the DMH is releasing on Rheo1 position, but not a big deal unless the annoying beep.
The problem with that is that over time it blows the pressure in the air reservoir, locking up the train permanently. That is The Bug on Bakerloo.
It sounds like it's been known for a while, with no fix. It's not a good start is it, when one of the built in routes has a fault in the first instance of playing. It also sounds like it's going to happen more as one progresses. I personally don't feel as enthusiastic about possibly investing in DLC any more.
The only problem I have on the bakerloo line it's Overground section some of the station stop marks are wrong there is quite a few of them my only problem I have at the moment if they can be thick as soon as possible thank you
This is sort of a unique case; it really doesn't apply to any other DLC. Whether this bug affects you is really a matter of driving style, which is for a long time the support dept claimed "can't reproduce." If you're the sort of driver who likes to scream into the station and then slam the brakes to 3, it will never pose a problem.
Is this tutorial issue on Bakerloo now resolved? I'm just running it on Series S and no problems so far, running well. Matt.
