Last weeks competition thread is effectively done so I hope no-one minds if I repeat my suggestion here that entries should have a caption mentioning at least which route has been used in their creation and perhaps any other assets. Some of the pic's were quite appealing but without knowing much about US railways I have no idea which routes at least half of them used.
The local service remains in the care of a pannier tank but the express departs Exeter St. Davids with a new Type 4 Diesel, D1031 Western Rifleman, in charge while Castle class loco's wait in the yard. Riviera Line in the '50s plus Western Hydraulics.
LMS Jubilee Class 5690 Leander on railtour duties approaches the summit of the Settle-Carlisle line at Ais Gill. Just as well that frieght train wasn't running a few seconds later.
A Class 73 from Gatwick Express 'Thunderbird' towing a Juniper back to the depot. (A Class 73 in this and a southern livery comes with the Class 460 DLC, sadly it isn't used in much scenario's). This scenario is on the Workshop 'Towing a Juniper'.
Class 506 is waiting for passengers on the Woodhead line while a pair of Class 76 is with an empty wagons is coming through. Anyone up for Hot Baked Potatoes with butter for just 10p
