On the Brighton Main Line, Thameslink Class 700s run between Brighton and East Croydon and some services from Littlehampton in the early morning. They stop at most stations between Three Bridges and East Croydon.

If you search the forum for Class 700 you'll find a stack of other threads already requesting this, with all the reasons it's not in the game already... ;)

I've heard there are complications, but hopefully the more we suggest it the more DTG will look into the Desiro City series of trains. Would love to see this in some sort of train pack with the 700, 707 and 717 if we get Great Northern as well :)

That will be The Desiro Pack for SWML 706 717 ECML South and 700 BML/ECML South. You might need to know that Class 700 is equipped with CBTC ETCS Level 2 ATO for thameslink core section London St Pancras tunnels Farringdon change voltage 25kv to 750v DC top contact. Game mode for 717 & 700 is K Electric multi voltage.

And the 707s have moved over to southeastern for their metro routes, though I'm unsure if they go as far as Faversham

I see a lot of suggestions for this train it looks like a good one for TSW, but what is it about it that seems to make it a popular request?

For me, they make a cool sound. They're also just aesthetically pleasing and are shiney and new :)

Southeastern Metro only goes as far as Gravesend on the North Kent Lines, and Orpington on the Kent Mainline. Some of them get stabled at Gillingham but in the main they'll be used on the high density metro routes from Dartford and Orpington

The 700 makes me sick... the noise it makes, the seats are awful, and for some reason the pantograph highlight light doesn't turn off when the panto drops...

I hate them personally, but id just be happy to have timetabled services that will stop at all the totally unused stations on L2B, like Balcombe for example.
