    Tehachapi Pass after full reinstallation today.

    Only have BNSF on BNSF EC44DC locos(Career Scenario name) but not on the rest.

    So what is wrong.

    Have even cleaned cache.

    These locos are not part of the Tehachapi Pass DLC.

    Dash-8 is from Arizona Divide (2nd picture), unbranded GEVO is from HiLine (3rd picture), F45 from Arizona Divide (4th picture).

    I guess they'll get updated soon. (Arizona Divide, HiLine, Raton Pass etc...). Till then get the logo packs from TrurailSimulations and other places on the net.

    And make sure you untick the "ES44AC (Unbranded) DLC". DTG Jamie: I hope this method will not break any scenarios, delivering two versions of the same asset. But then I don't think anybody has used this pile of junk in any scenario.

    I really hope the US ban issue will soon be done. I'm still waiting for completely regional restricted rolling stock to play workshop scenarios on Stevens and Marias Pass, why don't you just release them all as they do not need to be modified?

    I try to be understanding of DTG's reasoning for releasing them the way they are, but I agree with torfneister here. All that has to be done is make the sales page available to customers and boom, anyone can buy it. This should be a fairly easy thing to do, so I can only imagine DTG is trying to maintain hype around BNSF for an extended period by releasing a little at a time so there is constant talk about it. The truth, though, is I think DTG would get better overall BNSF sales by letting them go all at once, or in substantially larger batches.

    In any case, the BNSF Loco Pack should be coming out now since they all use Marias, not to mention the individual locos as well for those only wanting one of them. Stevens didn't have any specific DLC using it, to my knowledge. Cajon needs to return at some point, then the SD75, ATSF SD45-2 from DTM, and many more can appear too.

    As for the TP, I saw a theory in another post. The scenario pictured may be from the scenario pack and use unbranded Arizona Divide and Montana Hi-Line stock. In which case they are still unbranded.

    Cyclone yes that's from the TP scenario pack, so I understand why trainsimplayer2020 is angry.

    So DTG Jamie : Life is short, and we don't want to wait a year for you releasing these packs. All it takes is a few mouseclicks.

    Completely missing from the non-US store page is the BNSF loco pack containing GP38, SD40 and F45 that was bundled with Marias Pass.

    Make ROW great again!

    That is my list with one additional the CSX SD70MAC Add-on-Livery

    This is not visible in the ROW store, probably because of "BNSF" in the name of the DLC.

    Allow me to expand your shopping list.

    First, things available now that still need updating but can be bought presently in ROW format:

    Clear Creek Narrow Gauge
    Clear Creek Old Timer Rolling Stock Pack
    Clear Creek Log & Lumber Expansion Pack
    Raton Pass
    Montana Hi-Line: Shelby - Havre
    Arizona Divide: Winslow - Williams
    The Racetrack: Aurora - Chicago (I own the ROW one, this will be on hold for the BNSF version for my videos)
    Cajon Pass (only available in old TS bundles like Railworks 3, still flagged as US-only by itself, but the UK can get a version on Amazon; a lot of trains below have scenarios on it, so the route is NEEDED)

    Now, a bunch of locos:

    BNSF ES44AC & SD40-2 Loco (24012 - literally the first DLC)
    BN SD40-2 (24060, they made a lot of these)
    BNSF SD40-2 (222577, another unique entry)
    BNSF GP38-2 (you put this in a later post)
    BNSF Dash 9 Loco (24067, older item, lots of Workshop use, includes CN and NS)
    BNSF SD75 Loco (65259 - CN reskins exist, though we need an official CN on a Canadian route)
    SP&S E-1 Class 'Northern' Loco (208349)
    BNSF ES44DC Loco (222611)
    Burlington Northern F45 Loco (222624)
    AT&SF SD45-2 Loco (376977, Digital Train Model, CSX pack can temporarily replace as can SP; UP and one more without the -2 exist)

    Liveries, Wagons, Scenarios:

    GP20 Burlington Northern Add-on Livery (222570)
    F7 Great Northern Big Sky Blue Livery (256539)
    F7 Southern Pacific "Bloody Nose" Add-on Livery (256549)
    CSX SD70MAC Add-on Livery (256611; SteamDB shows this oddly, I wonder if this is pulled)
    ATSF Wagon Pack 01 (256521)
    BN Wagon Pack 01 (256523; BTW, the PRR Wagon Pack falls in between those at 256522)
    BNSF Wagon Pack (275138)
    Great Northern Wagon Pack (275139)
    Baltimore & Ohio Wagon Pack (326001)
    Chicago Racetrack Scenario Pack (1109204, presently restricted due to US-only BNSF locos)
    Pacific Surfliner Scenario Pack (1515062, see above)

    There is also an old Santa Fe SD40-2 at 24057 which is apparently retired and easily replaced by one from a route above, probably better quality. There is also a Snoot Nose SD40-2 which is represented in the list above; I know on Steam discussions I once answered a message about a scenario called Cement Snoot wonidering what DLC it came from as the BNSF manuals someone gave me did not list the scenario. Figured that out at the time. I think it's the 24012 one.

    So yes, for most of these, all DTG has to do is make the page usable by the rest of the world. I wonder why they are not...

    I am aware of this. That's why I did not mention the SD70V2 due to torf already doing so, but I did mention the SD70MAC livery.

    No timeline? The products are already completed. What's going on here? Do they have to pay Valve for each product they change the info for?

    No idea why they are dragging their feet you would think it would just a simple case of removing the restrictions on Steam.

    The branded and unbranded versions of a route are two separate items on Steam.
    Not just as easy as making the Branded version available worldwide

    What happens to the people who own the unbranded version?
    Do they get the branded version for Free and will that overwrite what they own?

    Personally the unbranded aren’t the problem, there are work around but the add ons available in the US but not here are the problem e.g. SW1500 and GP9 packs there are a number more but I won’t do yet another list.

    We already saw this with a Tehachapi owner. They have to disable the unbranded ES44AC. I'm not sure if there are problems leaving it checked, or even unchecking it.

    When a scenario refers to the engine, it looks for "DTG\ES44AC_BNSF\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44DC\BNSF\Engine\ES44DC_BNSF.xml".

    You have both packs, it will use the recent one (timestamp) it finds as the contents of both ap's get merged in memory, leading to two ES44DC_BNSF.xml being present. They only differ in the display name:

    Code:
                   <iRailVehicleBlueprint-cBrowseRVInformation>
                       <DisplayName>

    The problem with this engine is that they made two separate packs instead of having one unified Asset pack for the blueprints, and a second one (in most other branding cases called System.ap) containing only textures.

    So I strongly advise to untick the ES44 (Unbranded) DLC and for DTG to remove it completely.

    And as I have written in the brake fix thread https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...pdated-brake-ditchlights-fix-available.51254/ , this thing is messed up anyway, so I advise to not use it again. Just found this in the engine blueprint.

    Code:
                       <CarriageInteriorInterface>
                           <cControlContainerBlueprint-cInteriorInterface>

                       </CarriageInteriorInterface>

    It refers to the Marias Pass assets. Shouldn't be like that as MP is not listed as a requirement. Just one of the strange things in this loco.

    Please do not use this in any of your workshop scenarios. Instead use the HiLine version which is the most up-to-date and well working BNSF ES44DC.

    The interesting tidbit is that existing owners aren't moved over to the other version of the route. They keep the one that is no longer offered for sale. If updates are ever made, DTG would have to ensure updates apply to both versions or the one no longer for sale gets left behind. Since the scenarios would have to reference the version that comes with the route, I would presume this means Tehachapi already fixed the scenarios to match the one still available, and this means the unbranded one is no longer relevant...except in those rare Workshop scenarios that use the unbranded version.

    I will get a closer look at this with the Racetrack.

    Tehachapi scenarios won't have to be adjusted. They load DTG\ES44AC_BNSF\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44DC\BNSF\Engine\ES44DC_BNSF.xml, which is present in both cases. If you've installed the unbranded pack, you'll see the unbranded and vice versa. If you have both, I don't know and won't try. Probably the branded one as the pack has a newer datestamp.

    The Racetrack has a separate System.ap containing the textures. This will simply be substituted with US' System.ap. (I've already done that as the Metra and BNSF textures are available on the net)

    Ah, beauty. In case I missed it, can you tell me where that is? I might give Racetrack a run before I get the actual update, though I have enough to play and a month of releases scheduled anyway so it's no biggie.
