    Hi all,

I've been enjoying TSW2 on my Xbox Series S, and I'm just now going through the Sand Patch Grade trainings.

In the SD40-2 Introduction training, I do everything as the instructions tell me, including setting brakes to initial reduction and then the game says something to the effect of "Good job, now wait until the train stops.". I am then locked out of controlling anything, but the train's speed doesn't reduce and I can't finish the training. In fact, since it's very slightly downhill (-0.2%), given enough time the speed actually increases.

Does anyone know if there's anything I should do differently, or if this is a bug? I am on the latest patch.

[PC-Steam] Same here. I try everything, but other brake options are blocked due tutorial.

    Hi All,
    Xbox series X:
I am having the same problem with the final step of the SD40-2 Introduction training…the brake jams at initial reduction and won’t budge any further!
No other brake options are then available and the train just speeds up!!

The MU-2A valve is accidently set on 'trail 6 or 26' and unfortunately blocked.

The task can still be finished, by leading the loco to the tagged tracks.

MU-2A valve.... needs to be set to Lead or Dead, is set to trail 6 or 26 by default
if you can change this up, brakes work properly

Many thanks Hellrich, great tip to overcome that issue.

Looks like a bug, I'm playing on PS just let the train going eventually it stops because of a 0.4% elevation.
