There will be DLC for routes /trains in the future (WSR next, Ruhr Sieg after that). They will upgrade the performance and visuals whenever they can and when they get more used to UE4 and the PS4 platform it self. The Xbox Version improved a lot from Founders to full release, so i guess they will smooth the PS4 Version over time aswell
About the DLC DTG has already stated that WSR and Ruhr Sieg Nord will be coming to Console Version of TSW. The optimization thing thats how it was on the Xbox Version in the beginning. The performance got better and improved so i would assume they do the same with the PS4 version. The PC Version got optimizations of those kind aswell over time. Of course i dont know that exactly, i´m not working there and dont know how they threat the Game in the future, but i´m still optimistic about that point.
My only question is when are there going to be real movements by cars lorrys etc and you only see people moving at the stations why is this or is tjere going to be a update to solve this its a good game and enjoying it but if you get real timetables why cant there be real time movements
Having watched a couple of streams of the Somerset route recently I’m really looking forward to its release on PS4. Wonder how long it will be before it is released?
No, the West Somerset DLC isnt out on Console´s, yet. Last i heard was around the launch time of the Main game that it isnt far away. But since then there wasnt any news about a more concrete timeframe.
Yes, I am very excited for WSR on PS4 too but I am a bit concerned at the lack of news. They said it would be soon after the release of the main game, but now all they are saying is 'no date has yet been announced'. Hope it's not too long.
I don’t know how familiar you are with DTG. But I’ve been playing TS18 for years and TSW on PC and it is completely normal for them not to announce dates or news on upcoming features.
when are there going to be new dlc for trains, maps etc for ps4 as loads are coming out for steam version also again on does any one know when they are going to let the cars, trucks etc move, cattle in fields just life in general
seems steep to me. If thats the pricing then I will be skipping the Ruhr Seig DLC as I am not as bothered about the non UK stuff
I certainly hope it will not be that expensive. Particularly if it is going to have as many bugs as the main game. I have recently come across many problems with the Rapid Transit route which I will be posting about soon.
dont think it will be £24.99 be more like £14.99 for a dlc they can jump at £24.99 especially when you have paid near £50 for the game plus for the pc version that has loads of new map trains etc and that isn't dear on that talk between £5 - £15 so hope not as wont be buying if each new dlc be £24.99 as thats a shed load of cash for just 1 game no chance
See £14.99 would be reasonable to me if it were the case. Lets see. Hopefully the PS Store page will be updated soon.....plus we will have a console specific dev livestream. That would be good.
I paid £20 for WSR on PC. So I don’t see why the price would be any different on consoles. Simulation games are not designed for you to buy every DLC. You just buy what you are interested. Some Flight sim games have over £4000 of dlc available. And TS18 has over £6000 of dlc. That being said WSR will likely have a release discount of at least 15% at launch for a limited time.
WSR was £14.99 for the first week after it first launched on PC back in May. I hope they do the same for consoles.
