Today I bought Tees Valley Line and Class 31 and was pleasantly surprised that the Class 31 has its own extra Layer on GWE Diesel Legends. I'm still considering whether I should buy the Class20 as well. Maybe you can help me with my decision. How many Services does the Class 20 have on TVL? Can you use Class 20 on GWE Diesel Legends and if so, for what kind of Services? I thank you in advance for your Answers.
It only adds a handful of services (something around 3-6 I believe). It does, however, substitute on all of the Class 37 trains, so the total number of services for the Class 20 is those few services it adds and all of the Class 37 services. No, you can't.
you can use the class 20 on west Somerset, Cathcart circle and southeastern high speed for the railtours, I definitely recommend the 20 as its a great bit of dlc
It's true that the class 20 doesn't add much in the way of additional services but the scenarios that come with it are pretty fun. It also adds good variety to the route as AI 37's can be substituted by a Class 20.
It's definitely worth buying. It's worth it just for the horn which is the best sounding one in the game in my opinion. You also get the limestone wagons and a working hotplate in the cab.
I like the Class 20 DLC. The sound isn’t perfect, but the ‘chopper’ sound is very pleasing. Interesting fact about the Class 20, it was used as the train on ‘Goldeneye’.
