I took a closer look at the screenshots of the Creators Club presentation. I could see that ALL scenarios and paintings except for this screenshot have a meaningful name in the picture. Here you can see "FRG". It seems to me that this could be an announcement for a new route, most likely from Germany. The last routes from Germany had such abbreviations DRZ= DResden ChemnitZ DRA=DResden RiesA So I strongly suspect the FRG: FRG=Freiburg OffenburgG This also fits well, since Dtg also released the TS 2022 Karlsruhe Offenburg, where they certainly looked a little further south. what do you think?

Wait, the codes work like [First Letter of Terminus]+[First letter of other terminus]+[Last letter of other terminus]?

    So
    Dresden- ChemnitZ
    L
    ondon-BrightoN
    D
    resden -RiesA

    IF
that was an easter egg (and while it seems particuraly well hidden I wouldn't be surprised), your proposal doesn't match with the current naming convention.

Any german town named R----G maybe near Frankfurt?:D

For all we know it could even be Faversham-Ramsgate? ROUTE EXTENSIONS CONFIRMED111!

But seriously, nice catch, let's see if something new pops up in the next few roadmaps, although I personally don't think it's anything in particular.

I mean, given the recent Thameslink Train Simulator 22 release, not impossible. Faversham-Ramsgate, do the Thameslink 700 and maybe even repaint the 377 in a Southeastern design, boom. You’ve got yourself an in demand route with an in demand train. I see no reason why they wouldn’t want to.

Eh... I can see the route being made, but I think it would be a shame to divide a London-Ramsgate journey in two DLCs, but when (and if) route extensions are a thing that might surely be one of the first candidates. :)

Well, my idea is to introduce this as a route expansion. It’s a short route with one new train. I don’t see why they couldn’t sell sell it for something around £19.99 a la WSR and IOW. DTG have all the licenses, it’s a question of if, not when.

I see... it makes sense, but to include the Class 700 they would need to make a DLC of a DLC, so you would need SEHS - like a loco DLC - (Thameslink only runs up to Rainham), which I think DTG doesn't want from a marketing perspective. But if it's just a "technology demostrator" it could work. Or maybe it simply has nothing to do with the 700 and comes with a 375/3 or something...

But let's not get excited for nothing, I already doubt FRG is a code at all, let alone one that brings a completely new mechanic.

    what

First: the code would be FHG or FBG
Second: I found nothing about this
Third: have JT ever done something outside the UK?
    Fourth: what

But the code for Hambug-Lübeck is HBK, Hamburg-Lübeck. Not HLK or HAK.

It’s because they didn’t use back then the new code format. So that’s why MSB is MSB for example.

yea, that’s a good point. The 700 can come by itself and so could the route extension. What if they sold SEHS + 700 + Ramsgate for maybe 35-40 quid, and called it a “definitive SEHS”? (after a while of it being on sale of course, they wouldn’t sell a new route and train for £15)

Just Trains published those routes the same as DTG publish Rivet's routes but don't make them, JT haven't made anything out side of GB :)

No, Just Trains made them, but got published by DTG. Like the Rivet/Skyhook stuff for TSW.

Definitely don't want to contradict you, but if that's the case why does it result like this on Steam?

Because it’s a weird construct of us publishing with just trains, but to bring it on steam, just trains has to publish with DTG, that’s just how that is. In the Manual it will only list me and Alexey as devs.

nah. JS mainly works on UK stuff. They got the tools almost 2 months ago so they are still learning to work with it. Don't expect anything soon from them either, +-10 months i guess. And tbf i don't think they have any plans or clear plans what their first project for TSW will be.
