Hello everyone Gotta say Im enjoying the game so far but Its clear that it needs some tweaks for the die hard carpers out there that want more realism. A big issue for me is the amount of bites im getting, far too many even on 1 day = 24hrs!! Sitting for a long time wondering what the fish are up to is a huge part of fishing. Getting runs every 2 mins is not. Also getting the odd bleep on the alarm would add to the suspense as well (Just a liner mate !). A few minor things could be added to make the game more enjoyable also, such as a catapult, Polaroids, binoculars etc. The game has great potential and Dovetail could reap the rewards if the game is polished up a bit by adding DLC lakes for a modest fee. On the subject of DLC lakes a great idea would be to add Historic fish such as the famous Black Mirror from the secret mere, Colne mere. For anyone who does not know Colne mere or "The mere" as it was known back then was home to a low stock of fish such as "The Big Commen" and the most sought after fish in the country at that time, the Black Mirror which weighed in excess of 50lb. The lake was not open for fishing but some pioneer carpers knew of the gems that lake held and took on the challenge. To fish that lake virtually would be well worth the DLC cost !!. Here she is btw, what a fish.
