As title says, for some reason, if you try to take over the Talent from AI, the AI shuts down the train screens and I didn't find anything I could do to turn them back on. This bug is like this since the release of this route.
Just behind the driver's seat and slightly to the right there are various switches. Hold the battery switch in the start position for around 5 seconds and the screens will light up again. Everything should work as normal after that.
