Me too, though I did turn off the chair squeak as I said in the other thread far to flatulent sounding for my liking. :D:D

Thinking about adding RW Enhancer 2 to my TS aquisitions.
Just have a couple of questions:-
    Question 1:
    Does RWE2 affect FPS rate?
    Question 2:
How much HDD space does it require?
    Many TIA

    1) If set up reasonably well then there's a couple of FPS loss, of course it all depends on how you set the shaders, if you max all the sliders then yes it will be quite an impact it's all about balancing your visuals and your performance based on your hardware.

    2) My RW Enhancer 2 folder is 953Mb, as this increases the more TS content you have then it's prudent to tell you my Railworks folder is 243Gb

I know, guilty as charged, I just can't help downloading & buying stuff!
I know a lot of you focus on one area/country or just Freight/Passenger or Old/Modern etc. my problem is I just love them all. LOL
Whatever mood I come home from work dictates what gets fired up in TS. I just love it.

I've used RW Enhancer Pro almost since acquiring Train Simulator mid 2000. RW Enhancer 2 is tempting. But I remain on the fence. Maybe you guys can help me decide. My hesitancy is that so many of RWE2's new features seem geared specifically for diesel / electric / modern-day railroading. I drive steam locos exclusively, and as much as is possible pretend I am in whatever period matches the loco in question. With diesel / electric features disable, is there enough improvement in core visual enhancement to justify the jump from RWEP to RWE2? (There are a few other features of RWE2 that interest me, such as being able to specify interim stops during QuickDrives.)

You are correct, in its current early stage RWE2 is geared toward Diesel & Electric, I know the dev wishes to involve steam further down the roadmap but as of yet there are many other things on a very long list before he gets there.

Please remember if you will the Dev is only one person, in the mean time you can still use all of RWE2's other enhancements and features and turn the HUD off completely and just use the original TS HUD options as before, some of the sounds wouldn't work too well within a steam setting but then some of the other ambient sounds would fit in just fine.
