Tried both ofthese this morning. The ballast one the brakes lock on roughly at the point where you head back to the depot. Simply will not release. When using external camera next to loco you can hear the brakes grinding. Second scenario (sleepers) - at the point where you have to couple to the wagons the brakes don't work unless you set them to emergency and limit the speed to about 4mph. Using this ridiculous approach I got coupled. You then have to shunt to the platform. At this point the brakes are stuck on and will not release. Wagons can be moved though. However, once loco has run around the wagons and recoupled it is impossible to move due to the weight of the train in combination with the brakes being fully on. I am going to raise this as a bug(s). Anyone else completed these scenarios without these issues?
The 37 on cornwall has a bug where when you decouple the brakes flip from Vacuum to air. You need to go to the end of the loco with the brake controls and reset this. If you look at he door int he middle of the "front" of your train you're looking for the one which says "no.2 END" Go to that cab and next to the left hand door (if you're facing away from the main windows) there are four red lights, and underneath the compressor and brake controllers. Set the brake controller to "Vacuum Brake - Goods" and you should be good to go
Ta, will give this a try. Baffles me how they can introduce a bug like this when 37's elsewhere are fine.
Probably has some functionality they were trying to get working or improve. It happens in coding all the time
I was trying to the ballast one to, have trouble keeping my speed down, to unload wagons. Open doors for ballast to come out, they still full.
