Train Sim World has nice weather features, except for thunderstorms. I would really enjoy seeing how Unreal Engine can handle thunderstorms. This should also come with dynamic weather. For example, your drive could start as clear, then a few clouds start to form, then darker clouds, then rain, then a full thunderstorm! What do you think?
Dynamic weather was a nice addition to TS2018 -- but it took a while for it to be added. I do enjoy real weather in my flight simulations, but then weather is a big factor on flight - much more so than for land based transport. Like Wilbnil, I would like to see it included, but definitely not a priority for me at this point. Would rather see a Steam engine first
In CSX HH, there was one where the snow was inn the scenery and then it melted (Ice and Snow) And in TS 20XX, it was a scenario on Miami-WPB. The clouds built up and made a thunderstorm.
Before they improve the weather or add dynamic weather to the game, Id like to see the skybox improved. For a game that has such beautiful details up close, it sure would be nice to have a realistic sky, and maybe some shadowing based on the position of the sun in the sky.
Is there? huh, I guess I've done most of my game play at noon or at night then. I'll have to go out of my way to do a custom time to check that out.
