Because it's Valentines Day, (aka 'Hate on Singles Day' - I'm not bitter), for today only, these add-ons are on sale over on the DTG Store https://store.dovetailgames.com/uk/sale (Steam users only) EDIT; The sale has ended now.
Looks a good sales with decent discounts. Shame I bought them all previously at higher prices and have the full set of DLCs. Will wait for sales in the future.
Prices on the Dovetail store show in pounds. Does the partner vendor silently convert to the equivalent in U.S. dollars?
Change the 'uk' in the URL to 'us' and it'll show in USD. https://store.dovetailgames.com/us/sale (I've no idea if the price includes tax or not, since for some reason you tend to exclude it over there) Europe: https://store.dovetailgames.com/eu/sale
Aha! Thanks for the tip. Then a question for the community: If you enjoy U.S. freight, is Cane Creek worth $15?
I would say yes, though the loco geometry is still off and the physics (compared to Run 8) seem a bit swift off the mark especially the SD40's.
just check and unfortunately none of those route that you mention on the top is on sale on steam game pc
that sucks for me, because i thought I could use my steam wallet card. I was about to get the Hauptstecke Hamburg because that's the only route I need. Maybe next time when its on sale on steam game
What happened to the sale? I click the tab on the store page that says flash sale and everything is full price. The day is far from over so I wouldn't imagine it's already over. https://store.dovetailgames.com/us/sale
I forget DTG is in the UK. I guess it would've been nice if they'd put a master timer for the sale or a localized end time for those not running on their time zone. I thought I had time to do it a bit later in the day, then got confused because the website still has the sale page up. Oh well guess I'll have to pick the the BR101 next time.
Same thing happened to me. The sale being on U.K. time is a perfectly logical thing that never occurred to me. But no biggie; there'll be more sales.
Guess we now have to wait two months until Easter. After running GWE the last couple of days I'm minded to buy Diesel Legends, but not at full price.
Word on the street is that Steam are now allowing publishers to run sales more often, perhaps once a month or so, so keep that wishlist up to date! Of course, if you're dumb like me and buy almost everything on release day, sales don't really mean much. I'm learning though, haven't bought anything since November. Keeping my powder dry and my Steam wallet healthy.
Thanks for posting this!! Trying to build up my PC collection as the sound issues on Xbox have become unbearable. Some decent deals (US Store): East Coastway and Class 313 are each $11.99, I think i'll get both. New Journeys expansion for $8.39 is tempting too. MSB for $11.99...not bad but might wait for Steam Summer sale to tackle the German content. Wish DTG would publicize their own sales on the forum lol.
JD. For your information the BR Class 52 - 40%, is still selling at £11.99 and the discount hasn’t been applied. Unfortunately I have everything TSW2 has released so waiting for a TSC sale later this month.
Thanks JD for correcting this. Also for adding some TSC American routes and Scenario packs from developers High Iron Simulations, Virtual New Haven Railroad and Great Northerner.
Would love to purchase something DTG, in a sale or not but until the GWE updates drop and show they work I'm afraid you can whistle.
