Can anybody help me please. I am having difficulty trying to couple at the very end of the 6th tutorial and cannot complete it. For coupling, I have been driving to the wagons with differing speeds up to max 5 MPH. I have even got out of the loco and tried to couple them in situ. Every time the screen says uncoupled not coupled There is actually a video tutorial of all the introduction tutorials on You Tube which shows the 6th tutorial on the coupling process is automatically done at a speed of 6.5 mph so tried that too but unsuccessfully. Can anyone throw some light on this situation please, whereby I can finish this tutorial scenario. I have verified files etc, but to no avail. Also tried ctrl-c and shift-ctrl-c to couple. I also tried to save the game but it wouldn’t respond to SAVE, so have to start from scratch everytime.
Thanks guys, for responding, I really appreciate that. It is the final part coupling wagons to wagons to end scenario. Tried slowly reversing into wagons. Used shift ctrl C and hovered my mouse into the coupling parts of the wagon left and right clicking but nothing happens. If I move forwards the wagons are not joined. Also I am unable to save the tutorial so have to start fresh each time. I have played it a dozen times. Apparently, once the wagons are coupled together, you uncouple the loco to end the tutorial. pipanminuta, I put the auto coupler down on the loco but how do you do it on a wagon? breblimator, how do you manually do it please? I wonder if this is a bug?
I have tried camera 8 and hovered over the coupling using left click. I have manually got down from the loco and moved to the position with no success. In the video it shows a coupling message on the screen but I haven’t received that. I will give it a rest for a few days and try again soon. As before, I will do a verify files first before I start. Thank you for your advice.
Thanks guys. I successfully completed this scenario this morning. I did nothing different to the same as I did all the previous attempts, but when I pointed my mouse at the coupler, the screen ‘manual coupler’ appeared and I clicked to couple up this time. Thank you for all your advice, I appreciated that.
