When livery designer compatibility comes to GWE, will you be able to make an FGW livery on the creators club instead of a scenario?

I doubt it, sadly. Not a PC player (though those who make FGW scenarios are practically the second coming of Christ to me) but I do know that FGW’s trains are treated as different stock altogether in the game.

You would be able to (not legally technically if it’s uploaded on the Creators Club) be able to create one, when the GWE stock get livery compatibility (at least on console, I’m not sure if PC can do this already)

but this won’t include the interior design as that’s to do with the stock not the outside changes you can make with the livery editor

And I said: "let there be FGW scenarios, and i saw they were good!" :D

No to be simple, it is a combination of the FGW Mod and a few ini tweaks.
As the FGW Stock is in every game build by default, you dont have to enable it, you just have to enable the possibilty to select it in the scenariodesigner on your end, the formation is known to the game across platforms and thus will spawn.
Given the huge positive Feedback and the fact it actually works, i will be working on a lot more, expect a wave of FGW scenarios coming next week. :D
(Of course not only scenarios to drive the FGW Stock alone, there will be proper AI Traffic too, and where i can do it, AWS Action :D (although some routes dont have it)

Love it. Very excited for the new batch. May we look forward to the day FirstGroup come to their senses and let DTG release it.

Unfortunately, the existing HST model has the big metal "GWR" appliques on the sides, which would still be visible under the paint.
Not to mention that the FGW "Squiggle" livery would be bloody hard to do well in LD.

    Okay, they squiggle dynamically.

I'm just so incredibly thankful I was finally able to play using this livery. It's forever been my greatest envy of PC players.

Dynamic lines is such a nostalgic livery for me, it's what I grew up seeing on this line and I have a lot of attachment to it. Just walking through the interior of the Mk 3s hit me with a rush of nostalgia, reminiscing about all the trips I took from Cardiff to London for days out and family holidays, throughout my childhood and into my adolescence. When you've been on as many GWR 800s as I have in the last few years you really begin to miss it!

Not to mention it's so much more colourful and vibrant than the dull GWR Green! Although I definitely think the shade of blue they used is too bright. I see now why the mod (or one of them at least) tweaked that.

    So yeah. Thank you!

perhaps the metal GWR will be removed for the livery editing purposes as DTG usually have De Branded and sometimes even de numbered trains when they enter the livery editor

but I still see the difficulty in the squiggles

Finally, a kindred spirit in my love for FGW! I got to take a Class 150 back to St Austell which wasn’t repainted and it made me feel so nostalgic.

3d models in livery editor are plain white with absolutely nothing on them. But that only affects the skin, not the 3d structure.

Or the Class 43 won’t be put into livery designer at all. That always remains an option for DTG.

Not bothered about the Barbie livery but not having a proper swallow livery for the HST is bumming me out.
