Hi! Noobie here, so learning pretty much everything there is to know about the GWR Class 166, however when I enable DSD and fail to deactivate the alarm the stock comes to a halt because of the e alarm. Understood. However, once the train has activated the e alarm due to the DSD not being pressed how do I restart the train as the throttle becomes dead. Just to save time -No the Manuel e alarm isn’t activated. -All system controls such as reverser are correct. Help
Whenever AWS or DSD stops you, TPWS becomes active, which means you have to wait a minute or two with everything in idle before you will be allowed to take power again. You don't have to do anything to cause this. In fact, you really just have to sit there and do nothing. You can always look at the TPWS panel to check if the 'brake demand' light is on; as long as that is on, you will not move.
