    Hi
I have been playing this route on the PS4 pro.
Does anyone know how to apply sand to prevent wheel slip for the Class 47?
The button on the end of the driving handle does not seem to respond.
    Thanks

Class 47s don't have sanders. There is no way to increase adhesion on a class 47 at all.

If I remember correctly the button on the power handle used to make a light application of the straight air, don 't know if that was a hill start feature I never got around to asking a driver, just what I saw as a guard.

As mentioned above, the anti slip button applies around 10-15psi of bogie brake to overcome any wheel slip. It’s also used to scrub the wheels during leaf fall season to try and keep the tyres and blocks clean. In my driver career, I can’t say I’ve used it much. Try applying the power more steadily to get the train away and you should be okay =)
