    TSW2

Petroleum - Hagen Freight Yard > Wuppertal-Langerfeld Yard

In TSW2020 this scenario was achievable but, since the arrival of TSW2 and it's new physics in the DB BR 185.5 getting up the hill from Hagen Freight Yard to Ennepetal is now impossible. I have tried with and without PZB enabled and still cannot make it up the hill. I get as far as the 134.0 km board before running out of steam.

This scenario is achievable, but "only" if you buy the DB BR 182 and do this run under explore and timetable.

This scenario is in need of some attention; a banker or a less heavy load.

Are you sure you released the brakes all the way? I completed all RRO scenarios and all freight services in TSW 2 with no problem.

We also need fuel trains on GWE going off the mainline from West Drayton to Colnbrook. Part of the line is already modelled on the map just West of the station.

There's no path set up to run from Reading to Hayes platform 5. Platform.4 is in there but not 5. Also we need the 66 to be able to use the TEA's

Petroleum services do not run into P5 at Hayes from Reading. P5 is for terminating passenger services from Paddington. P5 at West Drayton needs to be opened along with the Colnbrook (former Uxbridge/Staines) loop. Likewise at Southall, the southern platform (unsure of number), goods yard and Brentford spur need opening for the Binliner trains. TEA stock would be a amazing addition.

Sorry for the bump but just want to say I'm currently experiencing this on PC, it's a shame it hasn't been looked at.

Same here! What is going on here, even trying to get the border to wheel slip perfect does not get you up the hill. I hope DTG will fix the utterly broken BR 185.5 ASAP - the sound is also broken.
Maybe it has something to do, with new physics on the track, but the loco is still from TSW2020 data.
PS: This should also be in the PC forum!!!

Just uncouple the last 4 wagons and it will work.

I just made the run pretty easily. BR 185.5, full consist and dry weather.

It looks like it's a game of how much you can push the throttle before the anti-slip protection kicks in and ruins your torque. Considering I was crawling up the hill at 30 to 40 km/h and even sanding a bit in some places, you have to really "redline it" in order to make the run.

All and all it's a nice challenge that does require some experience and quite a bit of manual driving.

That's odd! I tried that, but no chance.. Sanding doesn't do anything for me. The slip point is the same... somehow.
Well, maybe I will try it again or uncouple the last four wagons. ;)
