So they said other one only be a one level which is a shame but ok, and they also said that AI trains Will go in it so I wanna know if they mean passenger or just Depot moves.
I suppose AI only services, like the Hudson Line trains will go to the other level. So you will see trains going there, but can't access the area yourself.
In real life, all three lines go to both levels with the caveat that duel mode (diesel/electric) locos have to be on the upper level only. Im guessing that on this timetable DTG created, some of the Hudson AI services will use the lower level.
All three lines use both levels. The P32s however use the upper level only. Shame that they didn't bother modelling the lower level but perhaps if there is another metro north route in the future, dtg will give us access to the lower level
Honestly, can’t blame them. I personally love running around on foot, which is why I adore routes with unique walkable areas like IOW and DRA. But I’m clearly in the minority here. If they modeled the concourse, most would just complain and urge them to put the development work into parts of the route that are visible from the cab. The only dev studio that would maybe put in the additional work because they like modeling large parts of stations is Rivet.
The main station of the new Harlem Line route actually has platforms on two levels, but only the upper one is accessible. Not a gigantic deal, but it could’ve made for some nice gameplay variety since services do indeed start and stop on both levels in real life. Now, only AI trains will have access.
Exactly. On Level 2, you get upgraded to an M3B and M7B, but the enemies are tougher and the end-level boss is a real mother.
It could be fun. A certain number of AP's would move you up to level 2, more would get you into the Grand Concourse and even more would let you walk up and down 42nd Street, stop for coffee and Danish and shop for bonus gifts like dlc, scenery plug-ins and dioramas.
From here you can see what each level have at grand central terminal starting from the timestamp: 20:43 and 26:57
Grand Central Terminal. The fact that the OP has created two threads, and mis-spelt the acronym on both occasions, doesn't help either (they call it GST in another thread)
