So I’m confused, if I back up the liveries scenarios file onto usb from the PlayStation, we should be alright to launch the game, is that right? The link above talks about pc players backing up.
Their solution is platform specific to Steam / Epic which is unhelpful. It translate to: PC Players: We thinks we've fixed the issue by turning off CC but backup liveries just in case. Console Players: Good Luck! The problem with backing up to USB on console is that you can't just back up liveries. If you need to restore then you will lose any progress since you backed.
Yes that’s what I thought. Well the lack of clarity for info for different platforms made me want to ask. Have avoided the game since it happened. I’ve one livery that I’m actually proud of… it took hours to finish, really don’t want to risk it.
Should be fine for all players. We do recommending backing up regularly, but we haven't seen any additional issues since disabling Creators Club last night. For those who have been affected, we'll be investigating a process by which we can get those returned after we fix the Creators Club issue. Thanks for your patience!
I have found that while my liveries are not showing in livery creator they ARE still selectable in timetable mode on the routes. Also liveries that I've subscribed to are useable in timetable too despite your post saying they won't be
Everything I downloaded from the CC is gone. Paint jobs and scenarios. And I have the game (PC) after the messages extra not started, but waited until it said that there should be no more problem. Referring to backups is nice, but not possible on Xbox.
Correct. "Downloaded" CC liveries and scenarios are stored on DTL's servers; the game only loads them locally as needed. With CC offline, none of them are available.
