This high speed train would fit for the american routes.

Unfortunately it really wouldnt have a purpose being on the NEC in its current state. The route barely reaches 70 MPH let alone the trains designated speed of 150 MPH (165 MPH MAX). With the ACS-64, you can’t even reach 100 on the route with out speeding, and the route doesn’t look like it will get any updates or extensions any time soon. However, it would be really neat to have in the game.

I have to agree 100%! Yes, this needs to be done! An ATSF 1950s route needs to be made. It needs the Super Chief with F3 or F7 A-B-B-A sets, an E6 or E8 A-B-A set, or an ALCO PA-1 A-B-A set in Warbonnet plus the full consist. It also needs an ATSF GP7/9, ALCO RSD15, or FM H-16-44 switcher plus freight cars and a caboose. An ATSF 4-8-4 Northern or Hudson could also be included or sold as DLC. We need #3751.

I would really like to see ACS-64 642 in the “America’s Railroad Salutes Our Veterans” scheme. It would add to the realism.

    See attached image.

Would also need a route to run them on, a section of the WCML maybe?

The way the shortness of routes on TSW are going, if we do see the WCML, it will be something like Milton Keynes - Watford Jct

place your ideas here steamers of 8 drivers or more may be placed here like the J1 2-10-4 or the ATSF 2-10-10-2 let's see what we all come up with :)

    My ideas:
-ATSF 2-10-10-2 Mallet (See Lionel Trains website for pictures; really cool loco with cool streamlined tender)
    -UP Big Boy
-UP Challenger (also WM, GN, D&RGW, Clinchfield, and NP had these engines)
-ATSF, C&O, or PRR 2-10-4 Texas
    -DM&IR M-4 Yellowstones
    -SP AC-9 Yellowstones
    -SP Cab Forwards
    -N&W Class A or Y6b Mallets
    -Triplex (Erie or Virginian)
    -4-8-4s (ATSF 3751 or 2900, SP/WP GS-2,-3, -4, or -6, N&W J Class)
    -NYC Niagaras
    -Virginian 2-10-10-2 Mallet
    -PRR Duplexes
    -C&O Allegheny/Virginian Blue Ridge (2-6-6-6)

There's no point suggesting steam engines because adding them is not a possibility yet, maybe for another few months

All american shunters! pure diesel goodness.... Shunters for the US railway route Sand Patch Grade to move around locomotives, freight cars up and down. Lots of shunting duties......

I agree! And in all countries, not just the U.S. Of course, that would imply switching/shunting scenarios or sessions. The DLC freight sessions pack for the NEC route includes quite a few switching ops, as does the WSR, and a few appear in GWE, but do not involve a shunting engine.

    Bring 'em on!

Have to say: TSW CSX Heavy Haul or NYC NEC routes need an NRE 3GS-21B Genset switcher plus some great rolling stock.
I'd like to see a Genset for a UP or BNSF route as well.

For a route set in the 1940s and 50s or the transition era (1950s-60s), we need an EMD SW-7, NW-2, or SW-9 switcher.
The BR route needs a shunter for yard duties, also.

I forgot to suggest the UP 4-12-2 3-cylinders. Also, we could get 2-8-4 Berkshires and 4-8-2 Mountains.

There aren't many true switchers out there anymore (at least around where I live). At my local yard (Conway) what you see most often is a GP with some form of slug or control car.

Would enjoy either a dedicated switcher or a genset. Lets give the local yards some love and leave the road diesels to the main line :)

We can't forget ALCO RS switchers, Fairbanks-Morse switchers, and maybe Baldwin switchers. The GE 44 tonners are a great addition, too.

With the release of Raton Pass and BNSF DLC DTG always have a licence issue with BNSF Railway Company.
So making this Santa Fe Super Chief will be released without Santa Fe branding.

Than could do like they did with the Raton Pass route they released for TS18 do a non-us version and a us version. So it is possible to be done.

They're not gonna do anything related to the military of the US unfortunately. This would be a great lil detail to have in the game though.
