Hi. I've been playing TS on pc for years, just the base game and casually. My son is taking a big interest in trains and wants to play but the pc is not in a toddler proof room so I was thinking about grabbing the ps4 version. I'm just conscious about add-on price - I don't mind driving obscure German electric trains but he is going to want something a bit more classic. I will need to be able to drive at least the Mallard and Flying Scotsman. Do these come with the ps4 version or will I be looking at expensive add-ons?
The PS4 has TSW, not TS. So no, The Mallard and Flying Scotsman don’t even exist yet. I also wouldn’t consider any steam locomotives toddler worthy. These things are complicated to drive, and TSW will certainly respect that when steam locomotives eventually come.
