    Introduction
The line in the south of Croatia between Split and Percović runs for approximately 29 miles or 47 kilometers, whilst traversing the bottom of the Dinara Mountains. The Length is perfect for TSW, considering the general trend of route sizes. The route its self is very picturesque, making for some breathtaking shots looking down on the Adriatic sea, whilst also keeping a challenge of facing very steep grades on the climb from Split.

    The Route
The route is mostly single track, with a small majority of passing points located throughout. Split features a 5 platform station, although 2 are disused. The overall layout of the area is quite small, and features a run around at one end. One will notice the relatively large platform lengths here, and this will be discussed later.

The tracks then enter a 1 mile tunnel under the town, before emerging north at Split Predgrade. This features a small double track station, with now mostly disused carriage sidings behind.

Another 2044 leaving Predgrade sidings working an ECS move to Split, to later form an IC service. One can see the carriage sidings behind, as well as the platforms and mainline to the right.

Around 4km later we then reach Split Solin, a major point on the route. Another similar station layout to Predgrade, expect this is where the lines major depot is. Hosting both Multiple Units and Locomotives. Whilst only being a 5 road shed, it features a refueling point and a small amount of pits for light maintenance. Solin also serves as a minor freight hub, with a medium size yard before the depot. The majority of Locos seen here would be cargo type.

The line now travels 10km and starts the steep climb northwards, whilst passing through a few local commuter stations. As the line climbs, the player will see some fabulous sights as they look down on the town.

The line moves through the minor terminus of Castel Stari, where some small sidings are located and a passing loop. As well as a terminating platform for commuter trains from Split. From now on the route gets very mountainous, and involves many cuttings.

After a small while, the line reaches the top of the Incline, at the terminus, Percovic. Percovic has another small station layout, with around 4 platforms, and a couple of large sidings for freight trains to perform light duties. The branch line from Sibenik also joins the line here.

    The Trains
This route has featured a small variety of stock over the years. These have included the 7123 DMU, 2044 and 2062 locomotives, and more recently the 7023 DMU. However for a base route, i feel that the 7123 DMU and 2062 locomotive should be included. The 7123, because it has formed all of the major passenger services on the route. The 2062 locomotive, as it is the major freight workhorse of the route, hauling practically all cargo on the line.

In terms of possible DLC, there are a couple of possibility's. The first being the 7023 DMU. These are a recent addition to Croatias rail fleet, being built in 2016. These form the majority of commuter services out of Split.

The 2044 locomotive. These form all loco hauled passenger trains along the line. Including the local trains and the once a day late night sleeper service. As this is a passenger loco, it would be best to include the passenger coaches.

    Services and summary
Overall the route features 30 passenger services a day, half of which terminate at Kastel Stari forming local services. Around 10 terminate at Percovic, and around 3 are fast IC services, calling only at Kastel Stari, intermediately. All Kastel Stari locals are now operated by 7023 DMUs, although in the past by 7123s. Percovic trains are a mix of 2044 local hauled trains and 7123s, and all IC services are 7123s. In terms of freight, there are around 10 trains spread throughout the day, all of which are a mix of double and single headed 2062s. Whilst not the busiest route, each service will feel different.

I feel this route would give a much needed change to the TSW route collection. Giving players a unique challenge, whilst travelling through wonderous cliffs, cuttings and peaks. The gradients will make the freight trains hard, featuring loco moves and shunts around Solin. The many corners will make the tilting on the 7123 fun. If thats not your type, their is always the slower paced stopper services out of Split.

If you have made it this far, thank you for reading, and i hope you will appreciate my suggestion.

Layers wise add in Motorail (Autoreisezug) uses Ddm 915 existing Laaers 560s can work due to Split having a motorail dock.
    Video of the mentioned Motorail

HZ 7123 DMU will be made by reskinning the DCZ DB BR612

This looks interesting and also a rather realistic suggestion.

Looks like an interesting suggestion. Any idea on the signaling of the line, as in what the signals and speed signs look like?

Not completely certain on the technicality's, but im pretty sure its similar to the likes of the signals in most of Eastern Europe. However they use a system called INDUSI, which is a like a more simplified version of Germanys signals, another similarity to something already in game

Regarding speed limit signs, i am unable to find a picture but if i recall, they are single digit numbers on square boards, almost identical to German ones.

From the looks of it you have a combined principal and distant signal above ground, and on the ground a signal showing the switch state. Interesting...

    Thanks for the pic

Looks awesome. I love the change of scenery, architecture, trains and signalling.

INDUSI is actually the old name for Punktförmige zugbeeinflussung PZB which is used on Existing German and future ÖBB routes non high-speed lines up to 160 kilometers per hour 100 mph. For owners of Split Percovic consult manuals for Rhein-Ruhr Osten TSW2020 manual Main Spessart Bahn section Ruhr-Sieg Nord when to acknowledge Indusi PZB. Signals seem to be identical to East German Deutsche Reichsbahn DDR Hl signals Nahverkehr Dresden and Tharandter Rampe.
