Been playing TV and this morning and I’ve noticed SOME of my hard earned gold medals earned in journey mode have gone missing? Boxes are still ticked but gold medals missing. On checking other routes, same thing, some gold medals ( Not all ) have gone missing? Obviously another bug introduced during an update probably? Has anyone else noticed this or had this? Either way once again yet another example of DTG proving they are a bunch of amateurs. I really wish someone more reputable who actually knows what they are doing would take over the TSW2 franchise because this DTG bunch really are pretty useless.
Yup! Most annoying. Just redone a run which had the box checked but the gold medal missing and got a gold medal again which has now been reinstated.
Same here. And the track looks awful. I've just had a run on the TSW2020 version and apart from the new sky, in my opinion, it looks better than the "improved" version. And it remembered I'd done every service, scenario and tutorial.

However if would be nice if one of the DTG mods would make a comment / response about things like this happening instead of the usual stone wall silence because A/ it’s meant to be their job to try and give reasons for things like this happening after consulting the techs and B/ because it’s seriously annoying when things like gold medals or trophy’s just suddenly go missing after you’ve spent hours of your life getting them. I know games will always contain the odd bug but the amount TSW2 has within it which appears to be on the increase is getting pretty unacceptable. I’m just glad I never payed anywhere near full price for any of my TSW2 dlc’s because quite simply they are fast becoming pretty worthless to play especially with regards to feeling any kind of sense of achievement. The concept, layout, and look of TSW2 is a gold mine in the train sim market on console but it’s currently being totally wasted by a game developer called DTG and their subs who really are in it way above their heads and capability.
Totally Agree, which is why at present, I am not buying any more DLC. Each time I think "Oh I might buy that" I read a post like this (and others this morning) and think "ok back on the NO buy shelf" again! Pity in someway I could not have been more patient and try to chat to the guys when they were at Ally Pally. Just hoping the Patch I downloaded has not screwed up things and I have lost more hours of my life on getting something, only for it to disappear again!
Ok so these missing medals are probably something to do with the preservation crew supposedly improving TVL. Thing is TVL doesn’t look that much different from before to me? I’ve been away from TSW2 for a while because I just got sick of all the hassle with it that was until the latest PS sale which enticed me back with some cheaper offers so maybe I’ve just forgotten what TVL looked like. What’s different now and what are all the improvements? ( Or not )
The "loss" (actually, invisibility) of medals was an unintended consequence of the change of Class 101 consists from incorrect 3-car to correct 2-car formations together with adding Livery Designer functionality. A fix is "being worked on." Your medals haven't been wiped, they just don't show up in the interface at present.
I had some problems with gold medals won at the London Bakerloo Line, which turned into silver medals, I think they increased the score needed to get the gold medals and they were reclassified...
