Seriously can anyone add me and shareplay me this flipping scenario!

On the GWR the 2nd to last scenario, my loco keeps having some type of engine failure, ive struggled enough messing with the points trying to get on the correct bloody line, one time i did get to the fuel station, topped up and I still ended up with my engine off.

Please someone is this a glitch or am I missing something in regards to the controls of this train.

Are you getting into the same cab or are you changing cabs?

The cab you dont use from the start is not available for the whole scenario, when you go in there it doesn’t even have the reverser lever, so thats defo off limits.
So yh same cab, but its like it just runs out of power eventually, i dont know if i take too long at the points changing the track directions or what but its frustrating because you go all that way to then be left stranded.

    Add me Goonertug2011

You have to remove the reverser lever from the first cab. It’s a safety feature

That's a common security feature.. remove the lever when in neutral and no one who is not supposed to, will be able to move the loco.

Sorry, but "remove the [reverser] lever" just does not make sense. Please explain or provide a screenshot.

Think about it, you said yourself there isn’t a lever in the other cab. That’s because it’s been “removed”

    Hey guys.
In the Class 66, the reverser lever is also the master key. When it is in neutral, it can be removed.
You need to take it with you if you want to switch cabs, as you only get 1 reverser lever.

How were we supposed to know that. We still need some sort of manual!

Thanks for the link, Luke. I already have a link to this manual on my desktop, but it does not contain information about shutting down, changing cabs, or even what to do before exiting the cab, nor are these items covered in the tutorial. Many of the TS manuals for engines included with routes or sold separately also contain diagrams or pictures of the cab with each control labeled; similar information would make a good addition to future revisions of TSW manuals. Please?

I am amazed and very disappointed with your response,

You must know that the PS4 manual is quite short and gives no information about playing the game other than the layout of the controller. If you didn't know that, then you should.

You should also know that the tutorial only tells you to turn the master key on and to move the reverser to forward. There is nothing else about the reverser.

So, in my opinion, my original question "How were we supposed to know that?" still stands. Do you have an answer?

I didn't say the master key is covered in the manual. I just pointed out that there is a manual.

The master key is clearly shown to be the reverser lever in the in-game tutorial.

To support Luke, in the tutorial it does point out that the master key is the reverser lever. So common sense (no offence intended) dictates that you would need the master key, ie the reverser lever, to operate the other cab

If I misunderstood, then I apologise and will say no more on the matter.
