After seeing the notification of a recent download of improvements and additions to the Tees Valley route, I decided to take on one of the few freight/shunting sessions I hadn't previously completed. After opening the driver's side window and sticking my head out, I think I heard an animal sounding off -- quite a few times, actually. If I'm correct about this, who knows what the next improvement might be? Animated animals, perhaps, as on some Trainz routes?

The animal sounds have always been there. It might be the case that they are a bit more noticeable from the cab with the windows open now but probably just something that you may not have noticed before. I would like a few animated animals though, that would be a nice touch.

In the very first release of MSTS (2001), I remember animated deer on Marias Pass!

animals would work very well as dioramas, so different animals could appear in different places each time.

Perhaps a few animated sheep might be just right for you?

Again this ties in with routes seeming lifeless beyond stations

Really? You'd like to see defenseless animals being hit by trains? I'm surprised. Fortunately, this will never happen in TSW. A sick idea.

Given the guy has an avatar which appears to show someone about to be run over by a train (which has been reported and appears ignored by the mods) even if posed, why are we not surprised...

Did the Train pass over you or were you pulled out? Hope you were not hurt.

The great thing that bird calls and songs are realistic, I remembre hearing Lesser Whitethroat and Grat Tit along one of the UK routes, I think it was WSR.

This game must be on your Wishlist then. Unfortunately as time goes on I'm more and more convinced it's vapourware.

    Cheers

Thanks to all the . . . whoops, nothing I'd like to call them would be acceptable to the censor, so use your imagina -- ah, no, that's probably not possible either.

Hey tolerant mod, you forgot to memoryhole this reminder of my original post. I'm really afraid impressionable children will see it and attempt to highjack a train to run over cattle. Why don't you think of the children? And to think Nat had a reputation of deleting posts. I promise I won't have any fun anymore here. Hopefully everyone else knows too

Surely DTG could add something to the game to spice it up a bit no? You get in a train at point A and go to point B and then have a wholly inaccurate scoring system saying what score and medal you got. Oh not to mention the collectables that seem to be for 'the little ones'.

I like driving certain trains and it is good but for me there is something missing.
