There are two trophies I am working on, 380 miles total distance in this engine and couple to 380 wagons.

After completing all the services I've only done just over 100 miles or so. How do I get the extra mileage? I don't have the patience to do the services 3 times over lol

Is it the last scenario for this engine I need to do? It's been a while but I seem to remember that was like a free roam scenario for this engine? Anyone already done these trophies?

Quite agree. Particularly as there is not much mileage on each service and because of the slow speed, they take so long. I still need both trophies.
I have wondered how far you can travel on the scenario you mention.
I also wonder whether you need to do anything after coupling to a wagon or can you simply uncouple and then couple again to increase the score!

I tried coupling/uncoupling to a 10 wagon train 38 times yesterday, didn't take any time at all which was fortunate as it didn't work.

Also I did the scenario and followed the map as far as I could to get some mileage and with loads of track left it came up and said you have gone beyond the end of the scenario or similar. Basically I ran out of track. So it ended and I assume I got the mileage but not all the xp I racked up during the run.

I then did another run of shorter duration, took some wagons to one of the other yards, came back, went to the hut to finish the scenario......only the hut was not there. It was underground or something. I was stood right over the blue target. Again....had to quit and no xp

Ok did some maths here....stay with me

I took two example services to cover the 380 miles and 380 couple trophies.

For F04-1 you couple 30 wagons for a total of 2 miles and takes 13mins (approx)
For F04-2 you then run these wagons 9.5 miles and takes 20 mins (approx)

So to couple 380 wagons (assuming you did non of the other services) you have to do the service F04-1 12.6 times and it will take 163.8mins or 2hrs 44mins. The trophy is then yours. You also rack up 25 miles in the GP38 towards the next one

For F04-2 (assuming you did non of the other services) would have to run it 40 times to get 380 miles in the GP38 and it would take 800 mins or 13.3hrs

Now, there may be longer services than F04-2 but I can't remember without doing them. Either way, these 2 trophies are a slog

You seem to be assuming that coupling to a 10 wagon consist counts as 10. Maybe it only counts as 1 being the wagon the loco actually couples to.

You may well be right and I really hope that you are. But I do just wonder!

Yeah if it only counts as 1 then we have no chance. Also, do you think there is any difference in the type of wagon? Trophy is couple to 380 Freight cars, but in the service above it describes them as 'vehicles'.

I should also say that using my idea of running F04-1 and coupling to 30 at a go I am currently at 210. So I haven't long to go to prove it one way or another but I'm already losing my mind

    It all gets very confusing.

If you can keep your mind long enough, report back later.

Did what I could but at the risk of throwing the disc out of the window I have given up for now. I was on 207miles out of 380 in gp38. Went into the open scenario and set all points to give me the longest run possible. Spent 2hrs or so driving back and forth, checked mileage.....still 207!

On the coupling one not sure. I even asked in the dev stream tonight and didn’t get an answer

Oh well. Just have to see what happens when you feel like continuing.

I'm currently trying to get 1660 miles in the class 166 on GWE. So far have reached 1000 miles so still have some way to go.

    That’s great. I’m a way behind on about 600
