The Philadelphia Subdivision is a roughly 85 mile stretch of mainline between Bayview yard in Baltimore and Greenwich yard in Philly. built by the Baltimore and Philadelphia Railroad in Pennsylvania and as a branch of the B&O Railroad in Delaware and Maryland. The line began full operation in 1886. North of Philadelphia, the B&O used the lines of the Philadelphia and Reading Railway to reach the New York City area. Passenger train service on the Philadelphia Subdivision was led by the Royal Blue, its flagship train. The B&O ceased operation of passenger trains on the subdivision in 1958, and since then the line has been used only for freight trains.

I would like to see this route as a freight route with 1950s-1960s era equipment

    Locomotives:

    B&O GP9s

    B&O SD35s

    Rolling stock

    B&O "Wagon top" Boxcars
    B&O 55 Ton Hoppers
    B&O N-34 Covered Hoppers
    GATX 8000-gallon tank cars
    B&O 65' Gondola
    B&O Flat Car with B&O 48ft Trailer
    B&O Bay Window Caboose

    Why do i want this?
The Philly sub is my hometown sub and i feel like its overshadowed while having a rich history. the line is a double track mainline in its day. it runs through many small towns and even crosses the Susquehanna River which i thought would be neat.
also, the addition of TOFC cars would be very interesting since we don't have any in the game right now along with the more obscure motive power.
This is my first suggestion and i am new so well see what happens
Please like if you like this idea. i think it would fit perfectly with other routes.
    Cheers.

This will actually affect Sand Patch Grade basically these B&O CSX predecessor locomotives and freight wagons start being coupled to AC4400CW (If there was Heavy Horsepower pack SD80MAC AC6000CW 11k hp)

85 miles is probably too long for TSW, but this suggestion is good and more historic US routes would be cool

We really do need more US routes in general. TSW as a whole has a monopoly of European routes with slight representation of the US.

me myself is not American, but about train, my vote always goes to US! Completely agree with you, TSW2 need more US content, especially the freights.

I agree. It would be nice to have more passenger routes, maybe steam powered passenger routes.

Freight/Passenger routes merged together would be better

As of 2006, CSX runs about 24 trains daily on the Philadelphia Subdivision, including intermodal, autorack, and general merchandise freights.[9] This is Wilsmere yard on the Philly sub route in Elsmere in the State of Delaware 20220409_150219.jpg 20220326_161057.jpg 20220409_145419.jpg
